In Session 1, we delved deeply into the essential skills necessary for the safe and effective use of firearms within a church setting or other crowded environments. Our journey continues as we pivot our attention towards the core of church security - the team itself. This next phase of our training is dedicated to understanding the anatomy of a church security team, exploring the responsibilities and commitments required of its members, and broadening our skill set beyond the realm of firearm handling.
This comprehensive course is designed not only to equip you with theoretical knowledge but also to foster practical skills that are pivotal for a church security team's success. Below is an outline of the critical areas we will cover, aiming to create a robust and resilient security presence within your House of Worship:

Understanding Use of Force Laws: Gain an in-depth understanding of the legal framework surrounding the use of force, ensuring that all actions taken by the security team are within legal boundaries.
Risk Mitigation Strategies: Learn to effectively mitigate risks associated with Assault by Contact, Unlawful Arrest, and Detention, focusing on prevention and de-escalation techniques.
Team Member Selection and Training: Discover best practices for selecting and training security team members, ensuring a high level of readiness and competency.
Utilization of OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) Spray in Church Environments: Explore the appropriate and effective use of OC spray as a non-lethal option for threat neutralization within a church setting.
Standardization of Guns, Gear, and Clothing: Address common issues related to the selection and use of firearms, gear, and attire to promote a cohesive and professional appearance among team members.
Children’s Area Security Concerns: Special emphasis on protecting the most vulnerable, with strategies tailored to enhance safety and security in children's areas.
Effective Team Communications: Develop robust communication protocols that ensure seamless coordination and information sharing among team members during normal operations and in response to security incidents.

Comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. Part of this class will be outside where we will learn skills associated use of Non-Lethal Force

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR FIREARMS TRAINING CLASS
Thank you for registering for our firearms training class. We understand that schedules can change, so we have established the following cancellation policy to accommodate your needs while ensuring the smooth operation of our training sessions.
Cancellation 7 Days Before Class: If you cancel your enrollment more than 7 days before the scheduled class, you are entitled to a full refund of the class fee, minus any administrative or processing fees incurred.
Cancellation Within 7 Days of Class: For cancellations made within 7 days of the class, we are unable to offer a refund. However, we will provide you with the opportunity to reschedule for a future class based on availability. If you are unable to reschedule, please be advised that you will forfeit the class fee.
Minimum Enrollment Requirement: Our classes require a minimum of 3 participants to proceed. Should enrollment not meet this requirement, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the class.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by Greig Performance Shooting: In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule a class, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible. You will then have the option to attend the class on the new date or receive a full refund of your class fee.
