The Church Security Team/Leader Development firearms training class is meticulously tailored for individuals looking to establish or enhance an armed security presence within their House of Worship. Class Level Expectation Notice
Please be advised that this firearms training course is designed for intermediate to advanced participants. As such, attendees are expected to demonstrate a solid foundation in firearms safety and proficiency throughout the duration of the class.
Key expectations include:
Safe Gun Handling: All participants must always exhibit safe handling of firearms. This includes awareness of muzzle direction, finger placement, and adherence to all safety protocols both on and off the firing line.
Proper Marksmanship Fundamentals: Attendees should possess a good understanding of and the ability to apply basic marksmanship principles, including stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control.
Holster Work: The ability to safely draw and re-holster your firearm from a belt holster is a prerequisite for this course. Participants are expected to perform these actions smoothly and safely, with an emphasis on minimizing risk to oneself and others.
This class will challenge and build upon your existing skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. REQUIREMENTS
Handgun, Semi-Automatic or Revolver
Holster - AIWB, IWB, OWB
3 Magazine or Speedloaders
Magazine Pouch - Optional
Hat with brim (baseball style hat)
Range/weather appropriate clothing - no open toe shoes, tank tops, etc
Hearing Protection, wrap around eye protection
300 rounds of ammunition
We will break for lunch, so bring your own food/snacks and drinks that you may want. .
We will also have loaner firearms, hearing protection, and eye protection available for use at no extra charge. If we do supply ammunition, you will be charged the same price it cost us to buy it.
Cancellation Policy for Firearms Training Class
Thank you for registering for our firearms training class. We understand that schedules can change, so we have established the following cancellation policy to accommodate your needs while ensuring the smooth operation of our training sessions.
- Cancellation 7 Days Before Class: If you cancel your enrollment more than 7 days before the scheduled class, you are entitled to a full refund of the class fee, minus any administrative or processing fees incurred.
- Cancellation Within 7 Days of Class: For cancellations made within 7 days of the class, we are unable to offer a refund. However, we will provide you with the opportunity to reschedule for a future class based on availability. If you are unable to reschedule, please be advised that you will forfeit the class fee.
- Minimum Enrollment Requirement: Our classes require a minimum of 3 participants to proceed. Should enrollment not meet this requirement, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the class.
- Cancellation or Rescheduling by Greig Performance Shooting: In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule a class, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible. You will then have the option to attend the class on the new date or receive a full refund of your class fee.
